Cabins in Siwa

I recently had the most incredible experience visiting Agpeninschal Ecolodge, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Abdalah. From the moment I arrived, he made every part of the journey seamless, fun, and truly unforgettable. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and hidden gems of the area, but he also had a fantastic sense of humor and a warm personality that made every tour feel like an adventure with a friend. He customized each experience to match my interests, ensuring I got to see and do everything I had hoped for—and more! Breakfast was delicious and the hotel very clean.

it was super special and unique, we loved ever second of the stay. location was phenomenal, the people in Siwa speak amazing English and their hospitality is amazing. the breakfast was a a full day meal which we obviously loved 😻

I was originally supposed to only stay one night at Paloma Lodge from 6 Nov to 7 Nov, but because I enjoyed my stay here so much, I decided to extend for 4 more nights, only checking out on 10 Nov instead. Paloma Lodge is very well located, with only about 5 mins’ walk away from Siwan town centre where all the restaurants, cafés and shops are located. Apart from that, it’s only a stone’s throw away from a fresh water spring, where it’s perfect for an early morning or mid-afternoon swim. The host, Captain Nair, is super kind, warm and hospitable! He made me feel very welcomed and because I was a solo female traveller, he would check on me when I’m out later in the evening. In fact, he invited me to dinners at the lodge with lovely meals, either prepared by the good Captain himself, or his lovely housekeeper, Safie! The lodge is very tastefully decorated and kept very clean. The one-room apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and was sufficiently equipped with kitchen appliances, such as; electric kettle, toaster oven and a fridge. I will definitely stay at Paloma Lodge again, when I come back to Siwa!! It was a very enjoyable and cosy homestay which felt like you are with family. A home away from home.

The breakfast was very complete but mostly we loved the place, the view and the decoration/style. Loved our room too!
