The room is not fancy but very clean. we had a Mountain View room and it was super clean and cute. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything. The restaurant on site is pretty good and we’ll visited by tourists and locals alike. Very good value hotel in Poas.

This felt like a very special place. Everyone has their own cabin with fire place should you need to warm up. There’s a long walk you can do through the jungle from the hotel which was really nice. The staff were really helpful when it came to getting taxis around, but a lot easier here to have a car.

    The wooden room makes it for a warm atmosphere, there’s plenty of space and a nice heater. The area is very green and you can appreciate it from room window. The restaurant is very good and the staff is super kind and accommodating. Location is perfect to volcan Poas national park. Definitely the place to stay if you are in the area.

    Lovely fireplace, needed for the cold evenings as no radiators. Spacious, clean, with character ( looks nicer than photos). Hanging clothes space too. Fantastic food. Welcoming helpful host, spoke excellent English fortunately for us.
