We had a great time in this camp. It's located a bit further then other camps, which ensures privacy and peace. The camp has a cozy common area where you can socialize with other guests and drink tea/coffee and eat dates. The beds in our tent were the most comfortable we slept in all Oman. Our host Saíd speaks fluent English and is ready to answer all your questions about the desert, beduin life, camels and so on. He also took us dune bashing (riding in 4x4 car across the dunes - great fun) and to see the sunset in the most beautiful place. They really went out of their way to make our stay in the camp special. They made delicious traditional dinner for us and then we sat around the fire and drummed and danced traditional dances. I can totally recommend.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent.

Perfect organisation and a great location deep in the desert. Very sustainable setting, great, easy and beautiful huts, very little light in the night, which we liked a lot, all very clean. Humied was a very welcoming host, explained many desert facts and made us a sweet little picnic between the camels with fresh karak and dates in the sunset in the desert. We loved his very well kept camels, friendly and strong! We like to warmly recommend this camp!

Absolutely amazing experience. If you don’t like industrial tourism, this is the place for you. Hamood’s desert camp has a few spaced out tents on stilts with only another small camp over the hill. Hamood is a wonderful host, born and bred in the area, and full of information. He ate with us so we had ample time to ask all of our questions. He was our driver for the sand bashing (so much fun!) and desert trip, which were fantastic. The camp cook provided a delicious meal and breakfast, which we were able to eat in the dining tent (also on stilts and with an exceptional view. Lower camps cannot offer this). A practical point, the pick-up site is in a specific compound, which avoids the hassle many other desert camp tourists were complaining about (people touting for business and pretending to be affiliated to camps). Totally recommend! Thank you for the wonderful memories Hamood!

Sama Al Sharqiyah Camp is situated in Al Wāşil. Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with kitchenware.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

The dinner has a beautiful splendour and a wonderful place than expected, nice people who love to help and save us a camel ride with a four-wheel drive vehicle for a small amount The sunset from the same camp was everything wonderful. After two months, I will return with the family

If you want an authentic experience in the desert, don’t miss this place! The host was extremly kind, he showed us the desert, brought some homemade food for iftar. I wish we should spend more nights in this camp. The tent was clean, we have own bathroom which was authentic as well.

Me and my girlfriend spend a great night at luxury camps, accomodation was superb, also the sunset in the dunes. This is the farmost camp around, so you really feel the connection with the desert, also with a help of friendly and welcoming stuff, such as Muhannad and Omar. They offer plenty of activities, such as camel riding, dune bashing or dinner with the stars. Definitelly recommend, definitelly would stay another time.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
