We had a wonderful family stay at Camping Assif N’Itran in Merzouga. The welcome was warm, and the accommodation was comfortable and well-suited for families. Located in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the setting is truly stunning. Between camel rides, lively evenings, and relaxing moments, the Saharan experience was both authentic and unforgettable. A perfect place to discover the desert in complete serenity.

spent one day in Merzouga in the desert and I wished I had more than one day. We enjoyed our trip in the desert. We rode camels in wonderful views and rode quad bikes in the desert with friendly, The camp is located in a wonderful silence beyond the desert with wonderful and helpful staff, Thank you from all depths of heart.

The round Dome was fantastic, spacy, comfortable, the free and far view towards the high dunes in the desert, and to the sky at night, was simply overwhelming. You leave your tent and can directly go for a walk through the desert e.g. ~ 1km to a small oasis at the foot of the highest dune around. We were not in any way disturbed by any neighboring camps, the location is very good. The traditional dinner and the breakfast was very good, we did not miss anything. We did not participate in evening entertainment or sports activities, so we can not comment these.

The camp is so great and cute! With a lot of attention to details. The tents are luxurios and super clean. Comfortable bed. Dinner for 12€ each person. No problem for vegeterians, just tell them beforehand. Good dinner and breakfast. At arrival free tee, water and biscuits. Drive with truck to and back from the camp included in the price. The prices of additional services are communicated transparently (like camel ride). Super friendly staff.

Simply astonishing! We absolutely loved this experience in the Sahara!!! The camp was perfectly located, deep in the desert, away from places were other camps concentrate, creating a magical ambience. We were lucky enought to be the only guests for the two nights we spent, so we got the teams' undivided attention and care. Mustafa, the host, is an incredible person, who will make sure you have the best experience possible. He's genuine, gifted and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the region, making every moment worthwhile. We were able to experience the silence of the desert both day and night and enjoy the starry night sky without light pollution. Having slept outside our tent (it was hot in August) we got to witness the sunrise in the desert. We also took a camel ride to enjoy the sunset on the sandy dunes, always without bumping to other people or groups. It was marvelous. The food, cooked on site, was superb: breakfast and dinner were delicious, made with high quality ingredients and served with dedication. We also had night entertainment and cultural exchange with Mustafa and his team, around the camp fire. If you're looking for a unique experience in the Sahara, in a genuine camp perfectly sized for ensuring quality over quantity, run by an extraordinary host assisted by a dedicated team aiming to give you the best, this is it!!! Importantly, it is very fairly priced. Don't be fooled by highly priced camps which won't deliver nearly as much as this one, quality wise. If we come back to Morocco, we'll definitely return to the camp.

At night we gathered around the campfire, and the local Berber guides entertained us with their traditional music and stories. The dinner served was mouth-watering, featuring delicious Moroccan dishes that catered to all dietary preferences. Moreover, the stargazing experience was beyond compare. With minimal light pollution, the night sky was illuminated with thousands of twinkling stars, making it a dreamy sight to behold. Overall, this camp stay was an unforgettable adventure, filled with warmth, hospitality, and natural beauty. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the magic of the desert and the Berber culture.
