Zanzibella is a piece of paradise. I have changed four different hotels to see the whole island and zanzibella was by far the best place I have stayed (I regret that I didn't stay more). The room I had was absolutely perfect with views at the pool and the sea, clean and huge. The food was delicious and in really reasonable / cheap price. The staff was always available to help with everything, educated and always with a warm smile. They had live music every night the time I stayed there. The music band's singer is the best voice I have ever heard and his show was amazing. The area of the hotel is very nice, you can see the real local life all around which makes this place unique. I never repeat countries but I could make an exception to come back here. A special thanks to the staff and their manager for the beautiful stay. I will miss you.

Leaving Anada was difficult — it became a sanctuary of peace, warmth, and togetherness. Hostel 197 tem piscina ao ar livre, jardim, terraço e restaurante em Nungwi. Com bar, a acomodação está localizada a cerca de 4 minutos a pé de Nungwi Beach. O Hostel 197 é diferenciado. Tem conforto de hotel e atmosfera de hostel. Fomos recepcionados pelo Johnny com suco de boas vindas e desde o primeiro momento a experiência foi incrível. O quarto é enorme e bem iluminado, tem espelho de corpo inteiro, cosméticos no banheiro, secador de cabelo, cama confortável, chuveiro potente, ar condicionado potente, limpeza e troca de toalhas diárias e muuuuitas tomadas (incluindo ao lado da cama). Na área comum, uma piscina grande, que fica linda à noite. quando iluminada. Várias espreguiçadeiras e pufs compõe o cenário, que é perfeito para deitar e admirar o céu estrelado de Zanzibar, curtindo o som ambiente que tá sempre on na caixa de som do hostel. Além da piscina, tem vôlei e academia. Os donos, Johnny e Gokhan, estão sempre presentes e promovem interação entre a galera (além de fazer boas mídias haha). O café da manhã também é diferenciado e é ao ar livre com vista para piscina. Tem opções elaboradas, variedades de frutas e os funcionários estão sempre disponíveis para preparar algo especial, caso você tenha alguma restrição alimentar. Tenho intolerância à lactose e consegui comer muito bem. Falando em comida, o bar/restaurante oferece um menu variado, com opções de lanches saudáveis (e não saudáveis também, pra quem quiser haha), almoço e janta por um preço bom, além de drinks excelentes. Recomendo a “torre de camarão” e o Mojito. Eles também oferecem tour para Mnemba (o passeio para nadar com os golfinhos) em horário diferenciado, o que evita o momento mais caótico com mil barcos ao mesmo tempo. Fechamos com eles e foi incrível. Ainda ganhamos almoço surpresa que estava muuuito bom. Por fim, eles tem segurança e um controle de acesso, o que torna a estadia muito segura. Ter ficado no Hostel 197 com certeza contribuiu para essa ser a melhor viagem da vida! 10000% recomendado! Já quero voltar

Lindo hotel, com uma praia praticamente privada em frente e quartos extremamente confortáveis. Os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e solícitos. Nossa estadia foi um sonho!

The resort is located right next to Nungwi beach and has a big nice restaurant on the sea terrace. When it's high tide you are dining right above the sea and it is very peaceful and joyful. Here is a short summary of what we liked during our stay: - Welcome. The Turkish manager (or the owner maybe) did a very warm welcome: we had a pleasant small talk, he told us about nearby places and recommendations. He also texted a brief local guide with recommendations and prices. This saved us some money in the markets and water taxi. Overall, this welcome cheered us up after a long trip and set the great tune for the rest of the stay. - Staff. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful: starting from the cleaning crew and the restaurant staff, up to reception, security and the management. I've seen the restaurant crew being very tired in the end of the day. Yet, they always remain cheerful and helpful which shows just how hard they work. They don't ask for it, but I foster everybody leaving good tips during the stay, or in the end of it. Kudos to everybody! - Meals and Drinks. The chef is very good and all the meals were well-balanced and delicious. Can say the same for the drinks. We stayed in different places and different resorts and in other places we might have wanted to have more variety in the menu, or for the portions to be bigger or for the meals to be tastier. But in this resort we never had such thoughts. On our last day we were dining on the terrace. Since we were checking out very early in the morning, we knew that we needed to do the end payment for the restaurant bills. So the manager/owner approached us. But it wasn't about the payment, he was going home at that time and just wanted to shake our hands, to thank us for the stay and to wish us good luck. So the stay was perfect from the beginning to the very end and we wish we could stay there longer but our trip was ending.
