The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

A balcony with city views is offered in each unit. What an indescribable stay at the Uros Utasa Lodge on Lake Titicaca. I can only give this lodge top marks because Raul gave us an unforgettable day. After he picked us up at the pier, we travelled through the reed belt on his boat. Even here he gave us an insight into what the reeds are used for. You could see that Raul is passionate about this area and enjoyed passing on his knowledge. After driving past so many huts, the surprise was all the greater! A paradise for a day! We enjoyed the afternoon on the deckchair and Raul and his wife also prepared dinner on request. Simply recommended!!!

Boasting luggage storage space, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor fireplace. The homestay has family rooms. Richar and his family definitely bring peace into their space. He walked with us to the significant pachamama and pachatata and explained the culture behind. His wife cooked amazing food, love especially their soup and trout!! His daughter taught us to make simple bracelets that was really fun and beautiful to have something handmade to bring home. The room is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I slept very well 2 nights. Always hot water for tea and coffee. Hot shower is hot! View is spectacular. I do recommend staying at least 2 nights to feel the tranquility and peace on the island.

Lina and Leonardo are wonderful people and so was the stay with them in their floating hotel. The place is just breathtaking and worth every minute spent there. We only had a late evening and had to leave early in the morning so were worried if it makes sense to have a night on the lake - ended up on a romantic sunset boat ride towards the room as Lina picked us up, had a wonderful view from the room of the opposite hills and then very nice homemade dinner with the family. In the morning Lina made pancakes for us and with a foggy sunrise she dropped us back to the port. I recommend this special experience to everyone visiting Puno! Of course it's not a 5* hotel, but you will remember it 1000x more.
