We were thoroughly impressed with everything! The location is fantastic – so convenient to all the facilities and attractions Nizwa has to offer. Initially, the surrounding locality was a little unexpected, but as they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover!" The moment we arrived at Etra Inn, we were amazed. The hospitality provided by Mr. Saif was flawless. He was truly welcoming and helpful. The room itself was superb. It was incredibly spacious with beautifully maintained interiors. We especially appreciated the ensuite bathroom with the tub and readily available hot water. The inclusion of a kettle, fridge, coffee, tea, a spacious king-size bed, ample storage (wardrobe, drawers), and plenty of charging points made our stay incredibly comfortable. The convenient parking inside the compound was also a big plus. While the weather was a little warm, the effective AC and fan in the room ensured we were perfectly comfortable. The overall ambience of Etra Inn was excellent, and being so close to restaurants and the souq was incredibly convenient. After a long journey from Dubai, booking Etra Inn was absolutely worth it. The stay exceeded expectations and refreshed us considerably. We would highly recommend Etra Inn to anyone planning a trip to Oman and looking for comfortable, convenient, and welcoming accommodation in Nizwa. Kudos to the entire team at Etra Inn! The swimming pool was sparkling clean and very inviting. Inside, there were two lovely outdoor seating areas, both thoughtfully designed, plus a charming swing that added a playful touch. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the main area. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Alaqer Wall and about 7 minutes to Nizwa Fort. There are plenty of cafés nearby and even a small supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. We received a thoughtful little gift after check-out, which made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place for families or groups—it’s the perfect spot to relax, feel at home, and enjoy exploring Nizwa to the fullest.

This place is a gem for families. Hamsa has turned his grandparent’s farm into a wonderful guesthouse full of Omani hospitality and heart. Every kid feels loved and adored and the star of the show. My kids were pretty sure they wanted to never go home and instead move in with Hamsa, feed the goats, and play with the baby bunnies.

Very nice host welcomed us with dates and coffee/tea. The place itself is great, with a spectacular view, very comfortable room, clean, nice bathroom, terrace. In the evening can see the stars from your bed. In the morning a nice sunrise. Also had breakfast and dinner which the family prepared for our, delicious local food. One thing if you go, a 4x4 car might help, we did not make it all the way in our small car, but you can ask to be picked up.
