We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

The staff were also very friendly and helpful e.g we got stuck on finding the location because we didn't have internet and they followed us all the way to come and get us as opposed to walking us through the directions 😃. Exceptional customer service.

Lovely location of tent on the riverside. We took an excellent sunset boat cruise and morning game drive, organised by the lodge and accompanied by knowledgable guides. The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
