The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

The vibes were super nice, the hosts made a community vibe and made you feel very welcome and in a family with everyone. It was the best decision to start my solo trip here as it already helped me meet people. The room is small but enough. It has a ventilator for the upper beds and another for the lower beds. The toilet and shower were very clean. The beds were comfy and pillows as well. They provide the bed sheeting. The kitchen!!! They have a small kitchen and it was gret for preparing breakfast and coffe and eating together with the rest of the people. They have hammocks and beds to chill everywhere, so the name fits very well ❤️‍🩹

Our stay was absolutely wonderful — the room was very comfortable and stylish, easily comparable to a 3- or 4-star hotel. We felt completely safe and at home. The location is okay, but what makes this place truly special is the amazing owner and their lovely family. We had a fantastic home-cooked dinner, and they even helped us catch our early morning train. As we left, they handed us a beautifully prepared breakfast box with a sweet surprise :) Experiences like this are rare not just in Anueadhapura, but all across Sri Lanka. Highly recommended — thank you for everything!

From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort conta com jardim e vista para o jardim em Habawewa. Kumbichchan Kulama Tank fica a 39 km de distância. Perfect location 2 mins walk from the entrance to the national park. Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

Beautiful property with modern, comfortable and spacious room. It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. Overall accommodations and spa were a luxurious experience that didn't break the bank.
