The staff are so lovely and helpful will everything you could need. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, good aircon and spacious size. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious and very well priced. The owner will organise anything you want to do - we did a safari which was amazing and well organised, picked up and dropped back off at the hotel and all tickets etc was sorted for us. The hotel organised amazing tours of Mihintale and the ancient temples with tuk tuk guide named Jaya - make sure to request Jaya as your tour guide! He was very kind and knowledgeable and we had the best time with him touring the beautiful temples.

Bicycles are available and this is an excellent way to see the sites nearby. And the food!!! The breakfasts are absolutely scrumptious with huge helpings - you won't need lunch. The photo shows the view from the breakfast area, where you can chat with other travellers if you wish. The room is comfortable and clean. Unlimited drinking water available day and night. Lake House isn't about having enough power points (there aren't) or having a wardrobe or similar for your stuff (there isn't). It's about unbelievable value, in all senses of the word.

The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

The toilet and shower were very clean. The beds were comfy and pillows as well. They provide the bed sheeting. The kitchen!!! They have a small kitchen and it was gret for preparing breakfast and coffe and eating together with the rest of the people. They have hammocks and beds to chill everywhere, so the name fits very well ❤️‍🩹

The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
