The room was absolutely huge, more like an apartment than a hotel room. Very clean and well-facilitated. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and welcoming. Takayama is tiny so everywhere is walkable but still, the location is great, just a 30-second walk to the train and bus station.

Rooms are spacious, traditional tatami and bed available. We had a very nice view of the mountains. Even though bathrooms are shared there are only a 5 rooms in the property, so not a lot of people and everything is spotless clean.
