Takayama is tiny so everywhere is walkable but still, the location is great, just a 30-second walk to the train and bus station.

It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was SO friendly, dinner and breakfast were amazing and the place itself was new and tidy. Our room also had insanely nice views to the mountains. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

From communications prior to our arrival to meeting our host and the entire stay, we had a wonderful experience! The kitchen is large and fully stocked, they have a washer and dryer, and the rooms were exactly as listed. Our host was courteous and the staff would keep the guest house super clean. They even gave us a bottle of fresh squeezed locally farmed mandarin juice, which was delicious.

It is well equipped and of high quality and feels luxerious. Good instructions in English. The outdoor space was the best part. We loved our stay there!
