I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

We ordered the dinner separately and it was a very nice experience too.

The hosts, Ken and Yuki are super friendly, kind, and fluent in English which is rare in smaller hotels in Japan This small hotel is very cozy, the food is delicious and there is a small bar in-house which is great since there is not much to do in Magome at night. Rooms are spacious, traditional tatami and bed available. We had a very nice view of the mountains. Even though bathrooms are shared there are only a 5 rooms in the property, so not a lot of people and everything is spotless clean.

The kitchen is large and fully stocked, they have a washer and dryer, and the rooms were exactly as listed. Our host was courteous and the staff would keep the guest house super clean. They even gave us a bottle of fresh squeezed locally farmed mandarin juice, which was delicious.
