We arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time, but the receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming—she allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The common area near the reception was very convenient, with amenities like a coffee table, coffee machine, fridge, and more—everything you might need was available. The room itself was beautiful and modern, with a stylish design and all the necessary comforts. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, especially considering the reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera!

All air-conditioned room have a modern furnishing and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The private bathroom includes bathrobes and slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. The location was tricky to get to, but that is not the hotel's fault. They are accessible only by foot due to the way the ancient town was built. I received excellent recommendations from the hotel about parking for our rental car. There is a secure parking building about 15 minutes walk away that cost 20 euro per day, although this is not the only option. The reception staff were excellent and organised for our luggage to be taken to our room - much appreciated considering the cobbled paths around the hotel. The room was large, quiet and well appointed. The included continental breakfast was adequate and the spa facilities were a nice addition.
