Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

I loved the small cottage right next to the lake and the balcony to relax on. The bed was very comfortable with warm duvet. There was a fan but I didn't need it as the the weather was just nice. I loved the shower's very good water pressure and warm water. Some more there was a warm welcome as soon as I got off the ferry and the helpful staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay right up until I stepped back on the ferry. Loved the breakfast so much! Very tasty, filling and healthy.

The environment here is very cosy, serene and calm. The meals were great, especially the vegetable and herbs nasi goreng (fried rice) is a MUST EAT dish at Sunset Beach Resort Weh. We had a fantastic time with Sumatra Orangutan Trek. Everything was well organized from start to finish. The jungle trek was unforgettable. We saw several orangutans, gibbons, and other monkeys. The guides were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the environment, always respectful of the wildlife. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. A perfect way to experience the jungle in a responsible and memorable way.

El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.

Jhony es una persona excelente, amable y servicial. Hicimos el trekking de 3 días y 2 noches con él y el trato por su parte, su guía y staff fue genial. Son muy respetuosos con la jungla, los animales y el medio ambiente. Te explica todo con detalle. Pudimos observar muchos orangutanes y diferentes tipos de monos y su guía nos cuidó en todo momento sintiéndonos muy seguros. Muy recomendable hacer, al menos, una noche en la selva y, si tienes tiempo, dos. La comida que nos daban era exquisita. Además, a mitad mañana te servían diferentes frutas con mucho detalle. La bajada por el río también fue muy divertida. En resumen, es una experiencia inolvidable y muy auténtica. Con él te puedes comunicar perfectamente en inglés, lástima que el guía no lo hablaba.
