The whole of the Monemvasia village was perfect and very picturesque. We tried out the fantastic restaurants and were delighted by the local cuisine and friendly, helpful service. The bars were also great and all had amazing outlooks! Walking around was like a dream and we even had a quick dip where you could access the sea. The local museum was wonderful too. We loved it all!

Very clean and very beautiful. There is garden around the building with playground for the kids. My kids loved the garden.

We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.
