Apartment was very clean and equipped with all you need! the location was very good. The apartment looks exactly as in the pictures. The bed and sofa are confortable. The hospitality we got from Dila was great. She was always available to answer our questions and requests. Thank you Dila!

Hosť was very friendly. Allowed later check out and arranged a taxi for my arrival and departure.

We had health problem and they took care of us like a part of the family. It is so good to find people like them when you are travelling.

It's located in a residential area in front of the school, so it's quiet at night. Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. Excellent excellent excellent!!!! Extremely clean, super big rooms, very comfortable, great location. Has everything you need! The owners are a gem!!! Dila organized for us a tour of the island and she let us do a late check out, which was super convenient because we were flying from Sal at 7 pm, so we could enjoy the beach and then take a shower. I strongly recommend staying here, especially if you’re not a fan of resorts like me but still want to be in a great accommodation. I only have good things to say about this place. You’ll love it! Located within 500 metres of Praia de Santa Maria and 400 metres of Nazarene Church, Ca GIOgió provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Santa Maria. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I loved this apartment and with I could have stayed longer! The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

Situated in Espargos and only 3.3 km from  Monte Curral, LAFAYETTE Alojamentos features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This bed and breakfast provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Outdoor seating is also available at the bed and breakfast. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment. The hosts went above and beyond to help us.
