Hotel Carey Beach Baru cuenta con un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y restaurante en Barú. The location was fantastic- beautiful white sandy beach, ocean view from bedroom window. We especially liked that there was NO music playing or smoking allowed on the property - just the sound of the birds and the waves. Good choice for breakfast and all other food from the menu for lunch, snacks and dinner (large portions). Beach bar always open to buy drinks and cocktails. Beach was cleaned and raked every morning and there were plenty of sun beds and chairs plus umbrellas and trees for shade. The staff were friendly and helpful ( also patient with us as we have zero Spanish!!!). We recommend using their suggested transport options from Cartagena - Nando (taxi) and Christian (boat). We were able to rent a boat for a couple of hours to go snorkelling and touring the islands. N.B. There are fish and a sunken plane to see when snorkelling but sadly all the coral has died. Carey Beach was the nicest sandy beach BY FAR that we saw and there were spectacular sunsets every night!

Renacer ancestral Barú cuenta con una zona de playa privada, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Playa Blanca. The place is in a good location, not too far from the entrance of Playa Blanca, which makes it way less crowded, less noisy. The room is fine for the money you pay. Due to the bleach's location, most places don't have power during the day and also are short on water. So you gotta keep in mind when going there. The host was pretty nice and helpful.

La ubicación es excelente en playa tranquila Barú y es adecuado para ir a bucear pues ofrece fácil acceso desde la playa a los sitios icónicos de buceo en Cartagena. Sin embargo, recomendado exclusivamente para adultos, dado que su ambiente y servicios están orientados a un público mayor. Además, no cuenta con electricidad permanente ni ventilador en la habitación, lo que puede afectar la comodidad durante la estancia.

The island is beautiful, and its design and concept are truly exceptional . The food selection is excellent, with a 3-course meal offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The presence of animals and the surrounding nature adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience. There are always very small groups of people, and at times it feels like you have the island all to yourself. The boat ride was conducted with great professionalism and care, which I deeply appreciated, especially as I was traveling with my senior parents. This level of responsibility is rare, based on my past experiences visiting neighboring islands and resorts. But above all, the customer service was OUTSTANDING . GRACIAS to every crew member, and a special shout out to Jeison, he went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday.

Contando con vista al mar, Villa Los Cocos Baru en Barú cuenta con hospedaje, una alberca al aire libre, un jardín, una zona de playa privada, un salón compartido y una terraza. Amazing place. We spent a whole week there and didn’t want to leave. The place is beautiful and well kept up. The pool was refreshing, with comfortable loungers. Judith, the cook and housekeeper provided excellent service and delicious food and cocktails. We had the big room on the second floor with the spacious private deck and loungers.

El Hotel Agua Azul Beach Resort se encuentra en la isla de Barú y ofrece piscina y acceso privado a la playa. Además, alberga un restaurante y sirve desayunos. Cartagena se encuentra a 1 hora en... Nos encantó la playa y el mobiliario / el mar/ la pileta / la casa en su totalidad : ambientes amplios y habitaciones cómodas / la atención recibida por parte de todo el personal muy buena/ y la comida casera riquísima. Volveríamos sin dudar.

The stay was really nice, this small 14-room hotel feels like home. Food and drinks were great, staff was very kind, special thanks to Marlon, Betty, Betto :) and the others! 3 nights there would be great, we did two and wished we would have stayed a bit more. If you are in Cartagena, you should absolutely book this stay!
