We had a late check in, so we had to do a self check in in this case, which was super simple as we got clear instructions. The room was super clean and comfy. Nice breakfast. Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. Pretty much the ideal hostel experience. The rooms were nice, with comfortable mattresses, made bedding, and a sink and mirror in the room. A European and a Swiss style outlet at the bed, a good shelf, and an adjustable reading light. Tons of very nice common spaces, including a well-equipped and huge kitchen area. Breakfast was simple (bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and juice) but high quality including locally baked fresh bread. The shower rooms were large and had lots of hooks and dry space to put your things. The staff were friendly and accommodating and everything was always clean. The building itself is cool too.

It is a very quiet apartment and you can hear only the sounds of nature and maybe the morning train heading to Rothorn, as it crosses outside your window! The breakfast was delicious!

The Swiss-style rooms are pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Most rooms also offer spectacular views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Located on the cliffside and nicer side of Mürren close to the mountain clouds. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and the view from the balcony is just heavenly (make sure to request for a room by the mountain side), check pics. Bfast was good and also had dinner here twice, their food is great and servers are attentive. Hotel is the first one on the cliffside after turning left from the train station, it isn’t a very long walk. I had an overall pleasant stay and will stay here again.
