This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

El Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel queda a menos de 5 minutos a pie de la universidad y el centro de Basilea, y está cerca del casco antiguo y los edificios históricos. The staff were brilliant - even helping me mend a pair broken glasses, and the breakfast was a joy.

Room was big, comfortable and had two windows overlooking lovely countryside. Brigitte was welcoming and helpful. We could use the coffee machine in the kitchen and place our motorcycle in the shed.
