Their son, Chayton, is himself an excellent guide who took us on an amazing excursion to see the mysterious source of the Columbia River. Deep in the rainforest, it bubbles from underground, a crystal clear beautiful set of cascades. Suncreek lodge is well kept and the cottage we stayed in was beautifully crafted in wood and very comfortable. We had a wonderful night sleep. Thanks so much Chayton, Thomas and Marisa for a great experience.

The property was wonderful. I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.
