He made sure we had everything we needed and also packed us a lunch for the hike. We are really thankful for his hospitality and kindness!

Marcel and his family were absolutely wonderful. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

Starting from the hosts who were extremely kind, they made sure that we were content and confortable. They were very friendly and generous at anytime. The room was very clean, the view was spectacular, above all the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It had a variety of traditional Albanian food, everything was fresh. It is very cosy and better then what I expected. I felt like a king. Thanks a lot to the family, I will come here anytime when near Valbona ! Truly exceptionnal. It is a 10++++ !

NeoKulla Hotel - Hikers Hive tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Valbonë. Las habitaciones climatizadas ofrecen vista a la montaña y vienen con un escritorio y WiFi gratis. To be honest, one of the best stays in Albania. The staff was so polite and kind where they asked us several times if we needed something. We also got the chance to speak with the owner because he was a guide himself for like 15 years and he helped us with a lot of information for the treks and everything. He was a gem to that place. We got to see a beautiful baby around who was the highlight. She was so beautiful and happy kid. Would always wave at us. So precious! The food was delicious. It was a set meal for 16 euros per person and included everything you could ask for. My partner who is a vegetarian and gluten free got vegetable instead of meat and a pie with corn flower instead of byrek ( their traditional pie). I got amazed how they also respected his needs because in Albania he has suffered a bit to eat because of this. The breakfast included cheese, honey( which was homemade), boiled eggs, butter, jam and some really delicious pancakesss. Omg loved loved them. They also offered picnic lunch for the hikers which was 5 euros per person. It had everything you need for picnic and to be honest beside cucumber, tomato, salami, cheese, apple, bread they also managed to fry different kind of vegetables who made it more complete and delicious. So in overall an amazing stay and so pity I didn’t reserved for two nights or more because I wanted to stay more but they were fully booked.
