I arrived in Muke village looking for a quiet place to stay far away from the touristic Livingstone town. I didn't expect to find there the best experience of my trip in Africa. I was the third guest since the house is new and they just started to host people in this authentic village house made with wood and clay. The bed are very comfortable, the bathroom and shower are clean and functional. It was so nice to sleep in this peaceful village near the Zambezi river that I decided to extend my stay to one week and I had many reasons to do so! This is not just a guest house, this is part of a project started 4 years ago by Alex when he decided to build a school in Muke Village. I met him when I arrived and he explained me how all the profits of the guest house go to the school, the teachers and the kids. The decision to build a school was made because the nearest school was 5 km away and the kids had to cover a busy dangerous road and sometimes even face the elephants that crowd the surroundings of the village. Starting with 10 kids now the school has 75 students and needs every year more support. I decided then to help as I could doing some volunteering and I extended my stay! So I really recommend to anyone who pass by Livingstone to spend some time in this place because for me it was the most authentic experience of my trip in Africa and I met very nice people in this place who work everyday to give a better future to the children of the village. All was new and clean. The house had a big battery in case of power outbreak’s. We had both airtel and mtn SIM cards because we work online while we travel and the signal was good so the signal towers were close. The owner fixed the road in the second day and it has a good sign from the asphalt road. I will return with pleasure for sure.

The hotel is newly opened and is as you would expect from Radisson. We were given a complimentary upgrade to the Terrace Villa Room 812, many thanks to the team. The breakfast was very good, the menu also included very good European cuisine.

The neighborhood was peaceful, our beds comfortable and linen clean. We had hot water for showering. The house is spacious enough for a large family and outside veranda for a braai. There were mosquito netting at all the beds and there are aircons in all the rooms.

Everything,I never had a wonderful host like Elena,Brenda and everyone there. It was juste amazing, the welcome was just wonderful and the house was the most beautiful I never seen, it is better than the pictures.
