EVERYTHING! This hotel was amazing. The staff make you feel so welcome and always go the extra mile. I cant complain about anything, the hotel is every way was PERFECT! Would return in a heart beat. We loved Zen Boutique so much! We felt extremely welcome and the staff were all wonderful. We were given a lot of information and offered support in organising activities. Our suitcase was lost and the staff took care of the communication with the airport, making sure our luggage arrived at destination. The Resort is beautiful and located on the edge of the forest. It was very special, especially during sunset. The food and cocktails were also very good and breakfast amazing. It all feels very new and is decorated with taste. The outside bathroom was also a very cool experience. Best place we stayed in Zanzibar, and there were quite a few. We’ll definitely be back!

The pool is the most beautiful I’ve seen so far, very design and breathtaking with a speechless view … same for the rooms , very splendid and unique , you can sleep with all the room open and just take a refresh in your private pool space… the food was AMAZING and cheap ! The personal is lovely and is really taking care of you … it’s a budget but it worth it

This is a fantastic place to stay. The bungalows are spacious, clean, lovingly furnished and directly at the beach. The pool is super nice and also the beach is clean and very good for swimming. There are also several options to relax on the beach. The food is brilliant and the staff super friendly. Calvin and his team take care about their guests very courteously and it already felt like a family in the end. Thank you so much !

Very sustainable accommodation, they don't use plastic and try to recycle as much as possible. Also breakfast is served in leaves and glasses, no plastic. They give a big water jar to keep in your apartment and from which you can get fresh drinkable water. If you, like me, boycott places that don't adopt sustainable practices and want to make sure that your holiday does not have a negative impact on the environment, this is the right place for you. And of course the host is great, always available and happy to help.
