Staff was very attentive, specially the receptionist who strive to assist. Romm was clean and complete with air, refrigerator, tv, beach towells, safe box, comfortable bedding. Breakfast wss next door with a list of choices, plus fruit and bread. Location is in the main street of Kata, a few blocks from the beach. Complimentary massage was provided next door. Room has ample balcony to main street.

Close to the beach, but around here are so many different resturants, bars and ofcourse the beach. Staff is nice and welcoming I enjoyed my short stay will stay longer next time. I think then I can leave a more developped review

From Two Days to Unforgettable Memories ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally booked for just two nights… but something about Alura made me stay much longer. From the moment I arrived, everything felt just right. The rooms are spotless — you can really tell how much love and care has gone into making this place shine. Fresh linens, clean bathrooms, and a sense of order that made it easy to relax from day one. What stood out even more was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I met incredible travelers and quickly felt part of a little community. We shared drinks on the terrace, swapped stories, and laughed late into the night — all with a view of the Big Buddha watching over us. If you’re someone who values both comfort and cleanliness, you’ll feel at home here. The longer I stayed, the more I realized Alura wasn’t just a guesthouse — it’s an experience. “Dis hier waar jou siel rus vind.”

We stayed at Place Hotel in Phuket for 1 night and had a very pleasant experience. Although our check-in was quite late — around 9:30 PM (the standard check-in time is 2 PM) — the owner, a truly kind and accommodating lady, graciously allowed us a late check-out until 5 PM, even though the official check-out time is 12 noon. The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk to Kata Beach, with markets, food joints, and 7/11 stores all around. The hotel facilities are great, the AC works perfectly, and overall, everything about this property is really good!
