I really liked how welcoming and comfortable the property felt from the moment I arrived. The staff were genuinely friendly, very polite, actually warm and helpful, which made a big difference. The room was clean, and had everything needed. The location was super convenient, quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. A beautiful setting. Situated on a beach. Falling asleep to the powerful rhythm of ocean waves was majestic. I stayed here for one night - to be closer to the airport (DSS) - and I didn't want to leave. The staff are truly wonderful - including Ousmane and the two women who carried my heavy suitcase upon my departure. The local taxi service is reliable. Having been pre-booked, twice they showed up on time (once in the early hours) for transit to the airport. (Twice because my party had two flights to different destinations.) I'll never forget this place.

The best thing was the location as it was very close to the airport. The apartment looked like the pictures. I traveled to Senegal from the US on Delta. However, my Air Senegal flight to The Gambia was significantly delayed. The apartment was perfect for sleeping and taking a shower as I did not want to wait in the airport for 14 hours.
