This is perfect spot for our gorilla trekking in Mufanse. We were treated so well by Jackie,the general manager,we thought she was the owner! She took care of all our needs and even shopped for a few supplies for us. We travel more than stay at home and this is definitely a rare occasion that we actually felt like family. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. We had a picky eater And even she loved the food! The staff kept the gardens and drive perfect. They scrubbed,water,cleaned everything. We could choose to eat in our apartment/condo or a beautiful upstairs terrace. We loved the place,the staff,the general help,and most of all Jackie. We felt protected and cared for. Definitely stay here again and give it highest recommendations

It is not easy to find nice value for a price near the Volcano National Park in Rwanda. Isange Hotel is just like that. Of course, it takes time to travel to the main gate, but one or another way you'll be on your own transport there. The place is great. It seems brand new, it's a great value for money. The man taking care of it was so nice to make breakfast at 06.00 in order for us to go hiking on time. I would definitely recommend it. Only if you have your own car though. There is not really a reception, and the guy in charge didn't know we would come. He had to call the manager to verify.

Breakfast was a treat. Tasty and fresh. The room had everything we needed with a lovely touch of fresh flowers in the room. We used the yoga mat and weights in the morning. Chance, the lady who looked after us was delightful and so helpful.

Wonderful place to stay at! Monique and Norbert go out of their way to make you feel at home. Clean and neat room and bathroom and Monique and Norbert are always around to help you plan your trip. Norbert is also an excellent guide and the walk we did with him to the twin lakes was really great! If you want to see Rwanda with a local and really get a glimpse into the life of a Rwandan family, do not hesitate to book this place.

It was so quiet and chilled and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly as were the other guests….. slept like a log, glorious views from our cabin and there was plenty to do (if u wanted to)…, We did a lovely boat trip around the other islands and a fantastic bike mountain bike ride thru rural Rwanda. We even stopped at a school to meet the children and see them in their classrooms…
