What an amazing experience that we will remember for a lifetime real luxury in such a beautiful historic location in the top of the mountains. Amazing family at O Retalhinho gave us authentic Portuguese food and we shared our scraps with the wild boars and fed the cats and listened to the wildlife. We took advantage of the luxury accommodation and stunning pool looking out to the mountains. An amazing find I’d recommend highly to anyone.

I was not sure about Talasnal, as nobody on social media is aware of the Xisto villages - but it was lovelier than I expectant it to be! It was clean, interesting, situated lovely, even the stairs to reach the rooms tickled our fancy! The balcony was superb!I wish more people can visit these villages - and the road is really nothing to be scared of ( drive slowly!). I am so glad that we were able to explore these villages!

We loved everything about this place. Compact but perfectly formed spotless and comfy villas around a lovely pool. Quiet area but good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Adriana was amazing, friendly, helpful, and took so much pride in what she did. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Very romantic and lovely cottage, we stayed only for one night but had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The breakfast was amazing and very tasty. The hosts were so accomodating. Highly recommend for everyone (also families with child). The jacuzzi was a nice touch to end our day :-).

    Really beautiful place with an amazing view and charming location. It has all the amenities you might need. The local cats were adorable and suddenly hearing the wild boars outside was also a fun experience.
