Super location, high on a cliff overlooking the town and ocean. An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.

It was a beautiful building from 1930 well renovated. It has a great outdoor space quite rustic and has a swimmingpool. Next to the hotel in the garden they had a small restaurant with good regional dishes. They also have good wines with it. Nicely prepaired and cosy. Nice staff. Here you will also have your breakfast inside or outside. Beautiful view. Parking places at the hotel and next to the hotel. Thanks for the good experience!

What a beautiful place! The cottage was spotless, roomy, and surrounded by breathtaking nature with a view of the ocean. The host was incredibly kind and made us feel truly welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!!! :)

We had an amazing stay at Casa Jolie. The house is spacious, spotless, and offers a breathtaking view of the ocean from the terrace and two balconies. It’s so comfortable that it was honestly hard to leave and explore the island. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and well equipped. We also appreciated having a washing machine, dryer, and even a steam iron — all of which made our stay extra convenient. Self check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, making the arrival and departure stress-free. Gaspar was a wonderful host — welcoming and thoughtful. He greeted us with delicious local treats, including honey cake and fresh potato bread. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by banana plantations, which gives it a peaceful and authentic Madeiran feel. Parking is available directly at the property, and the location is ideal as a base to explore the island — whether you’re heading to the mountains, the coast, or nearby trails. One of the most beautiful and less crowded levada walks — Levada do Moinho and Levada Nova — starts just a 4-minute walk from the house. We’d definitely love to return and highly recommend Casa Jolie to anyone visiting Madeira.

The Villa was beautiful, outstanding views across the island. It was a large and spacious villa with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and always available for help or questions. We loved our time here and would totally recommend this to anyone coming to Madeira and would love to come back ourselves. I would recommend hiring a car as it would make the island much more accessible. You can however walk from the villa into the town and there are a few good bars and restaurants near the beach.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa surrounded by beautiful banana plantations. The peaceful setting and breathtaking views made it a truly relaxing getaway. The villa is extremely spacious and well-equipped, leaving nothing to be desired. A particularly convenient feature was the garage within the house. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay!

    Cleanliness and room service is the biggest advantage. Beautiful view from the window, comfortable bed, spacious rooms. The food is delicious, everyone will find something for themselves. Delicious bread, fresh fruit, hot and cold dishes. Very clean canteen. The location is another plus. Great as a place from which you can get everywhere on the island by car. The hotel is located on the street, but it is not passable, so it is not noisy. In the immediate vicinity of the guarded beach and restaurant. Beautiful sunsets.

    The house is phenomenal. The place is exactly listed in the photos. Everything was great and we had a great stay. Everything was clean and spotless. There's also a gate to the house which made it very secure. The address of the place does not show up in googlemaps so make sure to save the GPS coordinates. I would also strongly recommend having a car to drive up here as it's at the top of the hill. The roads are narrow and steep at times but that's the tradeoff to get a nice location and view.

    The location was great with beautiful views. It's very quiet and we could enjoy every part of the island easily by car. There is also a cool short Banana route close by the RB2 Vereda do Nateiro and other beautiful waterfalls at Ponta do Sol. The garage is a bit tricky if you have a low car. It has a nicely equipped kitchen. They had a welcome basket with fruits for us. It is ideal for a family or a group of friends. We would definitely choose the same place next time. Thank you, Ribeiro Family!

    perfect location for our holidays. the house is really like on the photos: 3 bedrooms, 1 big terrasse and some smaller ones. the kitchen well equiped. everything was working, very clean. you can connect to netflix.... Goretta, the charming owner is very helpfull.

    It is an amazing place to stay, Sara house is very clean and has everything you need. The garden is beautiful. Great location, we took a walk to the beach and enjoyed the town. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back. The host was very helpful.

    Perfect location with a beautiful view, large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean. A quiet neighborhood. Tasty breakfast but almost every day the same. You can order pancakes or an omelette with toppings. The hotel has a small gym, an indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a terrace on the top for sunbathing. Friendly and helpful staff. You could leave your car in the underground car-park for free. The evening with Madeira dances was very nice. There are bars and restaurants around the corner.
