I liked the fact it property was cozy and right in downtown Mayagüez near everything. Quiet, too. Had parking right in front of the apartment. Room had a refrigerator with complementary drinks inside. Because of location and hospitality, when I return to Mayagüez, I'll come back here.

The Blue House Joyuda is a fantastic place to stay on the west coast of Puerto Rico! It is a short drive to many beaches including Buyé, Combate, and more; as well as close to the Salinas de Cabo Rojo and Faro Los Morrillos. We first visited one year ago, and we knew that when we were planning this year's vacation to Puerto Rico, we had to return here! The rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. Raul Jr. & Sr. are wonderful hosts, and are very helpful, and accommodating. There is a beautiful pool area for their guests, and a quiet little beach across the road to watch the sunset. If you're looking to spend extended time at Buyé Beach, check out Buyé Campers which the family also does an excellent job of maintaining.

Condo Direct Beach Access at Joyuda is located in Cabo Rojo, just a few steps from Playa Azul and 13 miles from Porta Coeli Religious Art Museum.
