Naqeeb’s an amazing host, friendly, welcoming and a funny guy. He made sure I had everything and more for a safe and comfortable stay. All the great things to do and see around Skardu have been recommended by him. Room was affordable and comfortable, wifi’s always available even during power outages. This hotel is a gem! The location was perfect, The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff were all very friendly and professional, and they went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Waking up to panoramic views of the mountains and the sound of flowing water was the kind of peaceful moment I didn’t know I needed. What stood out most, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming — not just polite, but genuinely kind. They were always ready with a cup of chai, local stories, or travel tips that made exploring Skardu even more meaningful. The food? Deliciously homemade! Every meal felt personal — from freshly cooked parathas at breakfast to traditional Balti dishes for dinner. The best part was the villa’s location — close enough to explore famous spots like Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and Shigar Fort, yet secluded enough to feel like your own private hideaway in the mountains. The hotel has so clean room and private bathroom. Also it is located on the center of Skardu and could feel a daily life of Skardu people. More over the manager, named Arslan, was really kind and can fanatically speak English well. Although I visited Skardu for the first time, I could enjoy historical places without any problem. I recommend this hotel!!!! Also, if I visit the city again, I will select this hotel again!!!

A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Mountain Face Guest House was simply amazing. The hospitality of Mr. Sana Ullah and his son Haseeb made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We even cooked our own meals, and Haseeb was always there to assist us — just like a family member. The environment was warm and friendly, with breathtaking views all around. The guest house is beautifully nestled among mountains and greenery, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city rush. One of the best parts is that Manthal Buddha Rock is just a 15-minute walk from the guest house — a perfect short hike to an amazing historical site. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Make sure to try the local breakfast — it’s fresh, delicious, and a great way to start your day. Would definitely love to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu!
