Cheap hotels in Almirante

We booked last minute after we missed the last boat to Bocas Town. The room was comfortable and clean. Good AC.

idyllic and calm location middle in the nature, close enough to Bocas town but far enough to have a quiet location to relax. Carlo and his wife are lovely and extremely helpful. if we ever go back to Bocas, I know where we’ll be staying!

Really nice staffs. We did a trip with the SUP that was really nice.

Period stilted property in calm Saigon Bay, local neighbourhood. Super comfy bed and excellent sleep. Free bikes and kayak. Nicolas and his wife Ange were great hosts and provided lovely breakfast on outside decking. Beautiful spot for sunset. Warm and friendly with excellent library and board games. Excelent choice in Bocas Town. Very good location. Close (by walk) to main boat docks and restaurant and bars. In pool area is very good chilli vibe. Staff is really nice and helpful, especially on recepcion. They organized everything for us, even the tours and boat took us on the hotel pier (so you dont need to negotiate with locals on street).

Thé pool area was fantastic,very well equipped kitchen .the hosts were helpful and responsive to any questions (and they were lovely)our cabin had everything we needed (even a kettle for us tea drinkers +a variety of teabags

Together with my 13-year-old daughter I had the pleasure to spend one week in the Pirate Arts Resort on Carenero Island. At first, I was hesitant to fly all the way from Germany to Panama but luckily my daughter insisted. And it was so worth it. Before we even sat foot on the island, we were very well taken care of. Weeks in advance, the managing director sent us a welcome letter which included how to get there, a very nice selection of trips and excursions to do, where to eat, etc. It also included some very practical tips in terms of which insect-repellent to buy and to stop at the local supermarket to buy the snacks you will be craving after dinner. When we finally sat foot on the island it felt like stepping into another world. There was the main house with the restaurant (it was closed when we visited but will be reopened in December and the whole operations will be run by a German chef – funny coincidence) and then there were a couple of separate 2-story houses with apartments in a tropical garden. Oh, that garden. So well maintained and so beautiful. Our apartment had a huge veranda with a table for four, a hammock, some lounge chairs (this is where I enjoyed my morning coffee) and 2 deck-chairs. Ah, and there was a star-fruit tree right in front of our house and we took full advantage of it 😊 On the veranda was a huge ventilator to keep the mosquitos away. Inside the apartment we had a big room with a fully furnished kitchen and living room with lots of books and board games. Our suite had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air-conditioning and ventilators. I also loved the fact that there were flower arrangements on every table and a fruit basket in the kitchen. Yummy. Behind the house was a washing-machine and a dryer – all very convenient. The people working there were very friendly – it felt more like a community. For us it was a great and relaxing experience in the Pirate Arts resort. I was able to fully disconnect in what felt
