The hotel is a great starting point for hiking tours (the start point for the balcony walk is a 15-minutes drive away). This House is a gem. You wake up with the sunshine flooding your bedroom and you can watch the sunset in front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped,  you can cook,  if you want.  But we accepted the offer from Sultan, the owner, to provide us with breakfast and dinner and were happy with this service. Sultan has been trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house was very clean and we did not miss anything. The house does not provide WiFi, but we enjoyed excellent 5G connectivity with a SIM card from Omantel (bought at the airport). We also accepted the offer from Hameed, Sultans brother, to drive us around in his Landcruiser. So we where able to see the Wadi Guhl, which is a exceptional experience. Hameed is a skilled driver and he knows the area very well. He fulfilled all our wishes for fotostops or walks, it was a pleasure to have him as a driver.  The track to the house is a bit rough,  if you come with a sedan, be a bit careful. But the road to the  canyon is Mode bumpy, I definitely recommed a car with some clearence.

Perfect quite place in the edge of Jabal Shams, it's all about you and the awesome nature. Check-in perfect, all accommodation was only for us (2 bedrooms, each with bathroom), there is outside kitchen to use. There aren't any restaurants and shops, so if you know it before, you are prepared :-). It's cottage with breath taking views, close to the beginning of W6 path (balcony walk). You don't need a 4x4 car, road is dusty, but if you go slowly it's OK. I can fully recommend this property.

    The location was great and the place was very clean. The host was very welcoming. The host made sure that he was aware of when we would arrive so that he could meet us and ensure that all our questions were answered. We were welcomed with qahwa, fresh fruits, biscuits and dates which was very nice. We picked the place because we wanted to take our dog with us, so it was great that the place was pet friendly!

    Location is perfect, very close to Balcony Walk. The host are amazing - very generous and hospitable (we did not have a 4WD car and they enquired about our car and picked us up from the road to ensure safe drive for a very reasonable price). We were greeted with coffee, dates and fruit. The rooms itself are freshly renovated and very clean.

    Hosts were very welcoming and provided water, coffee, and fruits. Nice terrace, ideal for having your meals. Great location, making it a short drive to all relevant hiking spots and viewpoints. No 4WD needed to reach the property.

    Basic amenities well provided ..... "tented". accommodation was comfortable with en suite facitities...staff friendly and hard working . Location quite amazing especially if approached "off `Road " from Rustat .

    The location is ideal for visiting Jebel Shams and the Balcony Walk. All of the staff were very helpful. The buffet evening meal was good, but the desert was unimaginative, breakfast was excellent.
