The location offered spectacular views of an inlet of Golden Bay from a hill site. You could see out to Farewell Spit. A pair of binoculars were provided. The house had a lovely outdoor deck to sit on and take in the views. The house was modern, tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. There were blankets should you require them and plenty of towels. The kitchen had a marvellous 5 hob gas and oven was large. Plenty of kitchen equipment made preparing and cooking a dream. The house had a fire.

Communication was great. Lovely location. Quiet area. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful outlook.

Everything was beyond what expected, from the service to location to the facilities. You have a massive bungalow style home with a fireplace, almost a full kitchen, 180° view of the ocean and stars. It's so quiet and in pristine condition with Jai to pick you up to and from the bottom of the hill. I have never experienced anything like this retreat before and it's 110% worth the stay. It's secluded but still close to Wharariki Beach/Abel Tasman National Park, it's everything you could ask for and more. I can't recommend this stay enough.

Amazing location, amazing service! Everything was just so great! The tent, the furniture, the bathroom, the bed with the linens. all so great. The fire pit and the tubs outside made it even greater :)
