Took our breakfast with us. It has only been built for 4 years and is new. The location was excellent a short walk to the main street. The Com is attached to the Pub the Commercial Hotel so could pop in for a drink or a meal if you liked. The building design was quite different with separate motel rooms(almost a tiny home) separated by empty garages on two levels Our room had lovely afternoon sun. Plenty of parking and space. Built in front of the big rock cliffs of Whakatane and the Tuis were very busy in the bush in the morning - lovely.

Everything was great and well thought out. The hosts were respectful and polite when we did see each other. The location was easy to find. The accommodation had everything I needed, right down to small things like salt. The hosts have really thought about the comfort of their guests and I truly enjoyed my stay there. 100% would recommend this accommodation.

Everything. Absolutely awesome place. Took us 30 seconds to book a longer stay, it was that good. Gutted to leave. Could have stayed for weeks on end. The kitchen was superb, both bathrooms were beautiful, beds were so comfortable. Living area was comfortable. And outside? Wow!
