We booked this hotel for a 3-night stay with our family, including 04 yr kid and a 4-month-old baby. We initially planned to prepare food for the kids and wash clothes, bringing along our induction and rice cookers. However, to our surprise, the property had everything we needed and more—fully equipped with gas cookers, a fridge, a washing machine, and all essential amenities. It truly felt like home, and we didn’t need to use our own appliances at all. The owner, Mr. Jayantha, and his wife were incredibly helpful, especially with the kids. Mr. Jayantha’s background as a navy commander reflected in the impeccable discipline and security of the property, which was very impressive.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos.
