The hotel is absolutely new. Our room was spacious, fresh, and very clean, with a nice and well-maintained bathroom. If I ever visit Arugam Bay again, I would definitely stay here again — out of all the hotels in this price range, this one is the best! The hotel is run by a very polite and kind family who made us feel welcome. The location was excellent — on the main road, within walking distance to cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the beach, but you can also walk to it (20 minutes) It was quiet at night, and we had a very peaceful stay. There’s also a lake next to the hotel, where elephants sometimes come to drink — a beautiful sight to witness. All guest rooms are located on the second floor. They also plan to open a restaurant soon on the ground floor.

This family-run hotel was incredible. The hosts were so kind and helpful - they drove us wherever we needed and helped with everything. The home-cooked food was delicious, with huge, satisfying portions that we looked forward to every day. We truly felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Owner and the staff are very kind people, full of joy and thoughtful. We spent the evening chatting together. They offer us the dinner and gave the best room since we were the only guests. Very good price, close to beach and authentic with hammock and coconut. Perfect for relaxing in the nature. Super recommended.

The rooms are excellent and great value compared to other places that I stayed in Aragum bay. The people that run it are lovely too and create such a relaxing atmosphere. The location is perfect as you're right by the beach and close to town but without too much noise. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and everything you could ask for.

It is with a heavy heart that our stay at Lucky Bay ends. Thank you to Mohamed and his family for all the attention they gave us, they spoiled us every day with delicious little treats. Thank you Mohamed for your kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay. We affirm that it was one of our most beautiful encounters of our trip. The hotel is a small haven of peace very well maintained, its fabulous garden puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. 10m from the beach and right next to the best breakfast in Arugam Bay, the location is ideal.     Amazing location next to a beach. Loved resting in a hammock with an ocean view. Everything is clean and nice. Murali cooks really good. His food was very tasty. Uncle Sella and Murali were very helpful and great hosts. In two months we are coming back!

    The location is 10 min walking from the beach and 20 min from pottovil surfing. Location is quiet, yet close enough to the beach and surfing point. The garden of the property is beautiful with a nice seating area for breakfast and dinner.
