We all really enjoyed our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu hotel. From the moment we arrived (really late in the evening) we were looked after extremely well by Manori and her team - they provided very tasty good value meals and organised a reasonably priced safari for us at short notice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the surroundings very nice. Our children enjoyed seeing the monkeys at breakfast and looking out for other wildlife. We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend - thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

We had a wonderful stay at Raalmadu Wilpattu. The safari experience was absolutely amazing, and the natural surroundings made it truly special. The hotel manager, Kuma, took excellent care of us and always made sure we felt welcome and looked after. The room was simple and rustic, but that’s exactly what you would expect in the middle of the jungle — it added to the charm and authentic feeling of the place. The only small downside was that the private pool next to our room wasn’t usable at the time. However, they are currently building a larger pool, and we are sure it will be fantastic once it’s finished. Overall, we can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable safaris!

The location is incredible right next to the river and the territory is very clean. We slept on a tree house and it was really cosy with nature sounds. We stayed two nights and did a full day safari that was organized by a host. In the early morning we took a walk around the village and enjoyed local hospitality. Definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Wonderful place, quiet farmhouse in the middle of a agricultural fields and close to the national park. The facilities are brand new, rooms was super clean and bed was confy. We had the opportunity to cook our meal with Sajith, the care taker. Great experience overall, we will come back definitely!

Holiday | Family Nice place with overlooking lagoon. One of the best places arund kalpitiya to have a relaxing getaway . You can do kayaking , kite surfing , and many more. Can go to nearby islands by boat. You can visit wilpattu from lagoon side entrance via a boat.

Such a lovely, relaxed spot. Owner is super lovely and has great information, recommendations and tips about things to do/transport around. He's always keen to help and checks in regularly with how your stay is going. Beds were super comfortable and they also do communal dinners at night which creates a more friendly, hostel vibe among the guests which is nice. Helped us organise a dolphin cruise with some other guests and we saw over 100 dolphins which was amazing! Fairly cheap to do as well.

Villa setha wadi was an amazing place. The view on the lagoon and the pool are the best. The room is clean, the beds are good and it has a really great shower. The chef prepared an incredible dinner for us, and the breakfast is lovely too. This place has its own kite centre where you can rent equipment. Kite instructor Matt teaches you how to kitesurf in the safest way possible on the lagoon and in the waves. Prices are very reasonable, equipment is brand new, we would definately recommend kiting with Matt.
