SpainClean, fresh, cared for. Everything worked. The staff are fantastic and Niro will provide suggestions for everything including what to see and where to eat. His restaurant recommendation gave us the best meal yet in Sri Lanka which is down near the Dutch Fort in Mannar. We had the chicken fried rice, chilli beef and ghee roti. Ice cream to finish! Loved it! They also filter their own water and provide it free to stay clear of single use plastic.

Quirky boutique hotel with Indian themed rooms with air conditioning and ceiling fan, very clean and very comfortable, the hotel manager spoke perfect english and it had an extremely busy separate restaurant that did a take away service and served incredible food which we really enjoyed.

El Shaddai is a lovely peaceful oasis. The hosts Yimal and Rosemary were so welcoming, great conversation and advice. I loved the outdoor verandah, beautiful restful place to sit and read. The bed was big and comfortable and private bathroom was very clean. Great value and I will definitely return.

It's a homestay, and the family who owns it are friendly and trustworthy. You can ask for iron etc.. they will provide.
Mannar is not a place where you have good places to stay, this location is a saviour in that sense.
Room is clean.

This is an exception guest house. Easy to get to and facilities were secure, super clean and spacious. Our hosts Lalee and Sabu were extremely welcoming and we learnt a lot of history and the current day from our chats on arrival and over breakfast. Advice on where to go and what to do in Mannar was appreciated. Mannar was very enjoyable and an ideal place to break the tuktuk drive to Jaffna.

They upgraded our booking with fair rate and my wife love the fried rice served at dinner. Kitchen staff are very friendly and my sons enjoyed the atmosphere very well. Mr. Fahad at the reception friendly and has excellent communication skills. After long travel we had comfortable rest and my mother was very satisfy with the location, food and beds.

The family who run this guest house provide wonderful hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here as the family make you feel very welcome and provide a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was delicious Sri Lankan food. If you are in Mannar and you have your our own transport and enjoy staying with local people then this is the place to stay!

Everything was excellent! The owner is super friendly and always attentive to any need. The room was perfect. I felt like I had a home. Location near the bus stop and food very close. thank you so much!
