We had an incredible stay here! All of the staff working at the hotel are such sweethearts and really made our stay special. The service is excellent as is the professionalism. The food here is also very special - the chef prepared the best rice and curry that we had during the trip and also incredible pittu for breakfast. We're still dreaming about those delicious meals! Unfortunately, it rained for most of our stay so we weren't able to take advantage of the pool but thanks to the nice porch we were still able to stay outside. We would love to stay here again!

The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

Whatever I say would be insufficient. They are very helpful and friendly. You can arrange the tour and car you want. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good. You can see a lot of squirrels from the balcony of your room and you can also watch the monkeys while having breakfast. The staff and the owner will do their best to help you.

Couple stay. We had a fantastic stay. The host and his family were unbelievably friendly and hostile. It's an excellent value for money very simple but cozy place. Sanji and Madhu were excellent hosts - From the time we stepped into the property to our departure, we were treated like family guests - We had all our Breakfasts and Dinners at the property. Everything which was served was excellent, prepared to perfection. The presentation was equally good. We discussed multiple topics in our 2 days stay with Sanjee and he showed us around the property. My daughter bonded so quickly with Yasashvi ( Sanjee/Madhu's 9 yr old daughter) that she still remembers and talks about her. There is also adorable large dog ( Windy ) as a pet - Madhu and her daughter accompanied us to Cave temples ( 4 min walk to reach the temple from the property ) and explained so many details / history / traditions of Buddhism. The climb to the temple is around 300 + stairs with Medium/Moderate elevation . During the climb we took photos of beautiful forest and mountains around the area. Rooms are excellent and with top notch conditions / amenities - Madhu , Sanjee are excellent hosts. I/my family would stay here again if we are in dambulla again - Do not miss to book this property during your visit in Dambulla.

Very nice homestay clean and owner kind and helpful. Very near to dambulla cave temple just 5 minutes you can get to the ticket office of cave temple. Host Upul is a nice man and help to arrange my schedule in Dambulla. Located quiet area just 5 minutes tuk tuk drive. Breakfast is nice and had dinner here traditional Sri Lankan food. Ceiling fan and air conditioner work well and breeze evening. Really satisfied in staying here. Nice 3 little boys of Upul. Upul offer me drive to the lake and one buddhist temple with his car. Room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Really satisfied everything. Thanks Mr. Upul and family

A kind and hospitable family that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. They could organise everything for you if you so wish. The home was kept spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Dambulla itself is really nice. It provides a glimpse of real Sri Lanka and we appreciated the conversations we had with the hosts. The cave temple is near by and main tourist attractions such as Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa are a must. We saw lots of elephants at the safari, up close, and enjoyed the wonderful views of Pidurangula rock. Thank you!
