Amazing guest who told us about great food options (bingsu, makgeolli, bibmbap restaurants) and a Hanbok rental. He even helped us book some of these places. The family room is large, really comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast offered by the owner is simple but healthy and traditional.

Lovely place to stay. Clean and spacious.Very kind hostess. Excellent location, parking garage nearby, you will get a discount for parking. You get a nice fruit and toast breakfast. Sleeping on the floor is not that comfortable, but you know that when you book a traditional stay. I liked the heated floor. Across the place is a good bimibab restaurant. If I ever come back I will stay there again

This place offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional Korean bedding. Even as Koreans, most modern lifestyles involve sleeping on beds, making such an experience uncommon. As soon as we both arrived in this wonderful place we were met with a warmth and kindness that we will certainly take with us on the rest of our travels. The Hanok was beautiful and felt very traditional! There was even a bench outside to sit, relax and admire the view, and a kitchen with breakfast, tea, water, etc. The Hanok is within walking distance of the main centre of Jeonju and has lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The owners are a family and they were all very sweet to speak to (in my limited Korean!) Would highly recommend, especially for their warmth and hospitality.
