The location is 2 seconds away from the main bus stop, to the hiking spots and the main unzen viewpoints of hot spring hells. The hostel itself is lovely and warm, the accomodation is comfortable. The best part is the host, so nice and helpful. Thank you Ichi!

This was a beautiful place to stay. My room was huge with a lovely view of the lake. So quiet - all I could hear were the ducks and gentle rain. The staff were very welcoming. I would have stayed longer if I could.

    Beautiful view on the lake, big japanese style room, very clean. Explanations of possible activities and tour planning suggestions of the owner had been very helpful to us. Great location for outdoor adventures in Unzen area.

    Perfect location to explore Unzen/Shimabara. The owner and staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, told us their favourite onsen spots/restaurants/activities etc. We enjoyed chatting a lot :) Our Japanese Tatami room was spacious and spotless clean. Nice view from the window! We would definitely come back again.

    The owner, he was very helpfull and had a great vibe. He was super welcoming and easy to talk to. The womens floor was very clean and we had a good nights sleep. The location was also very good. Amazing that we could leave our bags on the first floor, that way we were able to hike on our first day already! In all a very relaxed vibe and
