Great location and a very nice traditional Japanese home in the small town of Koza. The kind proprietor met us at the property. I recommend that you talk to the owner of the little tourist shop at the train station. He will rent you a bicycle and give you information about the area. Don't miss seeing Takinohai, which is a spectacular spot up river and easy to get to by local bus.

Very beautiful hotel by the river about 7km from Kushimoto city. Onsen was very good, rooms are clean, spacious, new and with all amenities. Enough free parking. We went there during March 29 and Sakura trees in the premises was in full bloom. Bakery is there and open 7:00-5:00. There are very delicious bakery items. Lobby is spacious and nice and there are lots of various board games to play. No hotel staffs available and have to do checking from machine. But we are guided very well from the day of booking and we could do everything smoothly easily. In summer there will be more activities like rafting in river, water plays etc.

Everything. The lady gave us a very warm welcome. The food was great, especially the dinner. The house is very beatufil and well kept.

Hot-spring baths and massages can be enjoyed at Nakanoshima, located a 5-minute ferry ride from Kanko Sanbashi pier. Traditional Kaiseki dinners and rooms with views of Nachi Bay are featured.

This hotel is like paradise! They have a private ferry to shuttle you to the hotel and when you get there, the staff are on top of assisting you with bags and anything. Rooms are a bit of a walk from the lobby (around 2-5 mins) but once you get there, you're greeted with an amazing traditional spacious tatami room and a breath-taking view. Their onsen is great too, with a huge selection of shampoo and conditioner, spacious locker area and bathing area, and an outdoor onsen as an option. Their package breakfast and dinner are also amazing, where you'll experience very traditional Japanese food. You can have a morning walk on their mountaintop, which you can access through the roof deck. There's a small shrine also to pay respects and you can watch dolphins jump around the ocean while fishing with a rented fishing rod.

Aki was the best host we could’ve imagined. He was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic! He was already waiting for us as we arrived at the train station and greeted us with a big smile. The property is absolutely gorgeous and warm. We didn’t have much time to sightsee, since we were only staying one night, but Aki managed to show us all of the nearby sights that had to be seen. I was very excited for this stay ahead of time after seeing the excellent reviews, but I have to say this experience still exceeded my expectations. Truly incredible. I really hope we can come back soon. An excuisite place and an excuisite host! Much love.
