We really enjoyed our stay. Shingu was really calm and the people in the town where genuinely very kind and wanted to have a chat with you. The hostel was super clean and the hostel owners where extremely nice and helpfull. We used this hostel as the location for a trip to nachi and sightseeing in shingu itself, I would recommend staying for more than one night, we w here glad we did. (Also, the beds where really nice, we slept well)

The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you might need during your stay. A great place to stay when exploring Kumano Kodo. All our requests were filled - and more! The owner is great, the room (the smaller room) is very cozy and we slept well on the tatami + mattresses. Even when it was cold outside, the AC/heater kept the room warm, and there was multiple blankets to use as well. Everything, including the room and the shared areas, were super clean and nice! Thank you!
