I did an overnight stop during Shimanami Kaido and enjoyed my stay with Onzo. Amenities were provided (toothbrush, floss, hairbrush, shampoo,…) which is nice so you don’t have to carry on the bike. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Very good value for money

This is such a great place! If you want to experience authentic Japanese family living, I highly recommend staying here. The host family is absolutely lovely. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, you could really feel their warmth and hospitality.

    The location was excellent and perfect for the part of our trip where we went cycling. Staff were accommodating and friendly. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept very well with no noise disturbances that previous reviews have mentioned.

    The location is beautiful, though marred slightly by the sights of cranes and construcion occupying half the lovely view outside the window. This is cheap, for such a lovely spot amongst all the best Onomichi sights. Easy to access, with friendly staff.
