We stayed because it's close to Sagano Romantic train station which we do the ride and some travel in Kyoto then took the train back to station and got the car drive to the hotel. So the location for the plan is really good. Staff is really good and helpful. The young lady at the counter can speak English very well. Building and all facilities are new and great. Breakfast is simple yet excellent. Also there's plenty of parking lot which charge you just little bit extra which is totally fine.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Japanese-style apartment. Beautifully decorated. The warm owners took care of everything to make our stay a success. A place in a quiet area. 10 minutes from Torokko station where the Sagano Romantic Train departs. We will definitely want to come back here.

Extra friendly. I accidentally double booked a room and they were able to correct it without us paying the cancellation cost. Free breakfast. Clean, good location if you want to visit Arashiyama, and the moss temple. Good connection (a direct bus ~40 minutes) to Kyoto station. Near bus and train station. They even had a restroom for leisure. It feels that it’s most for people who travel with pets since there are a lot of dog treats and dog theme.

Insomnia KYOTO was truly one of the highlights of our short trip to Kyoto! Very helpful and friendly staff, eager to answer to all of our questions about sightseeing, place to eat, etc. The room was comfortable, clean, with lots of amenities. Wonderful Ryokan - serene location with onsen which was fabulous . Good sized room . Staff were lovely and the full Japanese breakfast was ‘different ‘ but an amazing experience . Dressing gown , slippers and traditional clothing provided which added to making it a unique Japanese experience . Shuttle service to and from the station is also a big plus and extremely helpful.

good location which is close to san-in lineKameoka.station,just 2 min walk. Breakfirst is included with both Japenese and westen style. public shower is provided, very clean. About 10 min' train to Saga arashiyama. supermarket AEON is just few min walk from the station. Good value for money,and definetely recomend
