Place was adequate for what we had intended. We only needed a place to sleep and shower as we were touring on bicycles. Place was comfortable and clean, instructions to get to accommodation and into our rooms was straight forward.

The hosts are the nicest people I have ever come accross. They help with everything. They also have two very cute cats. Also very close to Udatsu townscape and room was super pleasant.

We had the absolutely best time at Megumi’s beautiful house! Everything is thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! The beds were super comfy! And Megumi is the best host you can imagine: She is such a nice person and has great tips for restaurants, local attractions (the camo tree is a must see!), Onsen and knows the area in and out. The location is a great base to visit the Ilya valley but even Higashimiyoshi and its rural surroundings are worth to explore. We would have loved to stay longer and were really sad to leave! Thanks again!

The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This place was one of the highlights of our entire three weeks in Japan. If youre looking for a traditional style accomodation, this is it. The room is spacious with a beautiful view of the valley. The facilities include delightful outdoor onsen as well as indoor onsen with bubbles. The best part was however the dinner which was consited out of 5 courses out of which all were locally sourced and so delicious. Dining while wearing provided yukata and watching the valley at dusk was just amazing. Thank you so much.

Exceptional house and amazing staff and owners. They helped us reaching the place, they let us use their Sauna tent outside the house, they brought us fresh tasty strawberries and they called us a taxi in the morning to reach the airport. The house is beautiful in the countryside but quite close to the city. We loved it!!
