Palazzo Angelica is the real Jewel of Salento. Roberto and Paola we cant thank you enough for your hospitality , you made our holiday. We felt like we where staying with family this was the most authentic accommodation we have ever stayed in, the quintessential Italain dream. 15 years of travelling Italy and honestly this is the best. A beautiful small town away from the tourist traps of Otranto and Leece but so close to the beautiful beaches 20-30 min drive. We didnt want to leave ... Si Arriva Come Ospiti, Si Riparte Come Amichi We will certainly return next year I hope you both receive awards from the Salento tourist board for all your hard work you are a credit to Italy and deserve all the sucess. Palazzo Angelica will no doubt be featured in boutique travel magazines in the future , so book now so you can claim to have found the pearl of Salento

Monica is an outstanding host and a great person. The surroundings are tranquil and relaxing. The breakfast is abundant with healthy, local and homemade items. The room is newly renovated and has all the necessary conveniences. There are so many nice touches. A couple of sweet and well trained dogs make the whole stay feel like home. It is very convenient to Oltranto and local trails and sights. Tell everyone you know about this place and they will be lucky enough to stay there.

It is an outstanding hotel in a marvellous place with services and facilities well above average. Modern rooms with all the comfort needed and a stunning view over the see and a the beautiful small city (definitively choose a sea-view room), perfectly clean, brekfast with all the choices possible, closed parking with covered places, helpful and kind staff. Walking distance to all the best (rocky) beaches and the sulfuric pool of the Terme. Special mention for the restaurant, one of the best kitchens in all South-Salento on the rooftop, with beatiful sunset views.

The room was super comfy, well equipped and well illuminated 😊 The location is beautiful and very relaxing. All the staff is so kind, especially for breakfast Simona and Ilaria are amazing with Ilaria giving us advice what to do around 🤩 If you have intolerances, no worries, they are very caring and attentive. In fact, even with my gluten intolerance I had every day a little homemade pastry which was very kind. The restaurant is amazing as well. It is DELICIOUS. Thank you for everything 🥰

    The location is wonderful, the historic palazzo is beautifully decorated, the rooms are cleaned every day, and even all the belongings are neatly arranged. The breakfasts are quite good, with a wide selection by Italian standards, not just coffee and croissants. The hotel staff is also amazing, very responsive and friendly. We were left with only warm impressions!

    A hidden gem in Puglia! This is a lovely hotel; well decorated with a unique and characterful edge, a lovely relaxing pool, nice breakfast and great location. Poggiardo is a great choice for a authentic experience of Puglia. Would recommend having a car to reach the hotel and for exploring nearby areas. We loved our time here!

    The property was great, everything we needed for our 3 nights in the area. Modern appliances, small but adequate kitchen to prepare a couple of meals. Very clean, shower was powerful, bed super comfortable, neighbour around the property was quiet. Nice outside area for taking a coffee in the morning. Couldn’t have asked for anything else.
