Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants, directions and local hiking trails. The room itself was modern and very comfortable with a view that literally took our breath away. A peaceful location too where the only sound was the clinking of a cow bell down in the valley. Everything we needed for a 2 night stay in this spectacular region.

Ausono is in a great spot to explore the national park.
The place is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, with an amazing view.
At the time we arrived no restaurants were open in the area, however, Giacomo cooked us a traditional and very tasty dinner.
Giacomo is a wonderful person and an excellent host!
In addition, he helped us so much to plan the rest of our trip.
Overall, we had a great experience. Totally recommended
