I travel a lot through Europe and spend the nights in the most diverse locations. This trip to Sicily had another special surprise in store for me. When I arrived at La Pomelia B&B in Taormina after crossing a range of small villages, I suddenly found myself in a very beautifully secluded location with an above-ground swimming pool including a beautiful view of the Etna volcano. Sitting on the cozy terrace and feeling the radiant sun and the warm wind, this location was transformed into something perfect on this day. The friendly welcome by the hostess was pleasant and very helpful despite the fact that I arrived during lunch time, so a little early, but no problem! If desired, you can enjoy the hostess's cooking skills if this is appreciated. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to do that now, but I would like to save it for the next occasion. The room/apartment was spacious with a good bathroom, clean and sufficient towels, well-functioning air conditioning and a refrigerator with some bottles of water on the house, very thoughtful! The bed was fine and the silence in and around the complex was soothing. A wonderful destination for business travelers like me. However, this location also serves as a great base for couples or small families to discover Sicily. A nice experience richer for me, Grazie mille Sofia! Ronald van der Meijden (Less than 24 hours after my departure, Volcano Etna felt it necessary to make itself heard again and the peace was again spectacularly disturbed).

This b&b is awesome; our room as well as the bathroom was very large and clean. There are only 3 rooms, so nice and quiet. They have a large pool with a honestly bar, so you can get your own cool drinks (soda’s, beer, wine, etc). The breakfast, done by Angela, was very good. The b&b is situated very close to the meeting point of the Etna excursions. Mauro is very helpful and gives you all the the information for the different tours you need.

Everything was amazing. Vera is so sweet and the house itself is just a stunner. We loved everything about our stay and it was the highlight of our visit. Feels like a home away from home. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything.

Where to start??? The location is incredible! A great view of Etna, nice quiet surroundings, beautiful views of mountains and vineyards. The staff were all lovely! Especially the lady who greeted us and seemed to be the manager (I think her name was Giovanna) She was so nice, kind and helpful... and a wonderful chef! We had the best meal of our 2 week trip there in a really spectacular room. The selections of wine were brilliant. Clear communications with us. The pool was fantastic, nice quiet, peaceful and everywhere was really clean. I would go back tomorrow no matter what cost. It was a real gem! I cant speak highly enough of it. We absolutely loved it and had a great holiday.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming country house / farm in Sicily, near Taormina, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the impeccable design of the property. The design of the country house is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that reflect the local culture and history. The common areas are equally impressive, featuring comfortable seating areas, cozy fireplaces, and large windows that frame the stunning landscape. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout our stay, the personnel went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. They were knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining. In summary, our stay at this Sicilian country house was truly unforgettable. The combination of stunning views, exquisite design, and outstanding service made for a perfect getaway.     My second time staying at this place. Very pleasant stay, set in a beautiful location with stunning views of Mount Etna. The hosts, Filippo and Rita, were particularly friendly. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Fantastic homemade Sicilian delights served at breakfast and dinner. A great find.

    The location is perfect! It's nestled in a valley overlooked by several quiet hills, with fantastic views. The property itself was ideal too, providing us with everything that we needed, and Susanna the owner was very helpful. This property is very close to a number of great sites to visit, like Gole Alcantara park, Taormina, Naxos and more. Pool was also lovely.

    The location was very good surrounded by nature and calmness. The view was also exceptional. Sheets and towels were very clean. Each day we were provided with various items for breakfast. The children also appreciated the fact that we could use the pool any time! Ms Susanna was always very kind and helpful! Well done and thank you very much!
